Witch Town Academy — For People Who Skipped the Rulebook

Interactive tutorials that teach day pressure, night watch, and why you should never trust the Matchmaker. No pop quiz. Unless you count trials.

Not everyone wants to learn social deduction from a PDF and a group chat argument. Witch Town Academy is the in-game tutorial system — interactive courses that walk you through the loop before real humans judge you.

Courses

  • Town Basics — phases, turns, and why drawing is sometimes safer than playing
  • Day Pressure — accusations, trial threshold, and the art of pointing at someone else
  • Night Watch — witch votes, sheriff protection, and self-guard reveals
  • Cards & Chaos — green skills, blue equipment, black witch events

Each lesson runs inside the game client with real card art and phase copy. Voice narration is optional (and caption-backed, because the mist is loud).

Why not just a video?

Because social deduction is learned by doing, not watching. Academy puts you in simplified scenarios: stack an accusation, survive a trial, watch a witch vote resolve. You can fail safely. In a real match, failure is also educational, but less repeatable.

Open game.playwitchtown.com/academy after signing in. Guest accounts work — the Academy does not gatekeep on wardrobe tier.

Graduate when ready. The town has no formal diploma. The replay viewer is your transcript.
